Thriving On Campus? Promoting the belonging, wellbeing, and academic development of 2SLGBTQ+ university students throughout Ontario

Welcome to our project! In 2018, we launched the first-ever Ontario-wide study of 2SLGBTQ+ university students’ experiences, wellbeing, and academic development. By 2SLGBTQ+, we mean individuals who identify as Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and other diverse sexual and/or gender identities.

This research project aimed to promote belonging, wellbeing, and academic success by exploring students’ campus experiences and using the results to inform policies, programs, and services tailored to their needs. Building on these findings, we worked with institutions and community partners to implement meaningful improvements for 2SLGBTQ+ students across Ontario.
