Also, they helped to interpret and disseminate the findings, including informing the development of recommendations to shape policies and programs tailored to the needs of LGBTQ2S+ students. Cette promotion se fait au niveau national, au sein des services d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de sant\u00e9 ainsi que par la d\u00e9fense des droits. She represented the <em>Ontario\u00a0Committee\u00a0on Student Affairs (OCSA)<\/em>\u00a0on the <em>Thriving On Campus<\/em> Advisory Committee. OCSA consists of the senior administrator at each Ontario university holding responsibility for student issues, the student experience and the majority of services and programs designed to serve and support students at the institution. The OCSA provides a forum for information sharing and discussion of emerging policy and practice on student issues facing Ontario\u2019s universities.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00ab Soutenir les personnes LGBTQ est un aspect important des services \u00e9tudiants, en s\u2019assurant que les services sont en place, mais aussi en identifiant les barri\u00e8res \u00e0 l\u2019inclusion. Des questions et des pr\u00e9occupations ext\u00e9rieures \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 (ex. l\u2019homophobie dans la communaut\u00e9, les dynamiques familiales) affectent aussi les personnes LGBTQ qui \u00e9tudient \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9. Notre plaidoyer envers le gouvernement provincial passe par la formulation de recommandations de politiques concr\u00e8tes, ax\u00e9es sur les \u00e9tudiants et bas\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es probantes.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00a0\u00ab Entre les soins de sant\u00e9 et les services acad\u00e9miques exclusifs, un m\u00e9pris pour les identit\u00e9s intersectionnelles, les soutiens insuffisants en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale, les espaces r\u00e9cr\u00e9atifs non inclusifs, et les lacunes dans la recherche, les \u00e9tudiant.e.s postsecondaires bispirituel.les et LGBTQ+ doivent souvent rencontrer de diverses lacunes de politiques et de discrimination. Les r\u00e9sultats de ce projet nous aideront \u00e0 mieux comprendre les impacts de ces lacunes \u00e0 travers les exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues.
